From the outset, music has been my life—my eventual professional career. After several earned music degrees and years of local, state, regional, national, and international work and acclaim, I have recently felt a strong impression to share the valuable contents of this book regarding music that enhances the spiritual atmosphere in our homes and in lives everywhere during these troubled times.

Music is a very powerful expression of emotion through the medium of sound. It is unhindered by the mental barriers usually in place to filter all input and is directly applied to the soul in a manner that is startlingly effective. Music is the most powerful of all the arts because it stimulates, manipulates, and dissipates our moods through the emotions. It illuminates the power to unite, bless, heal, empower, inspire, praise, uplift, and teach. Possessing a dimension of its own, music often exceeds the spoken word in expressing moods and feelings of the heart and soul.
